Rental Policies

Customer Responsibility

  • Rented equipment is the responsibility of the customer until it is returned to and accepted by Grand Rental Station.
  • The customer is responsible for all equipment for the entire contracted rental period. Notifying us that equipment is no longer in use or “ready for pickup” does not transfer responsibility. Equipment remains the customer’s responsibility until it is returned or picked up and checked in by our staff.
  • Customers are responsible for all loss, theft, or damage beyond normal wear, including tire, piston, and body damage.
  • Equipment must be used properly and only for its intended purpose. Subleasing or use by unauthorized parties is prohibited.

Reservation & Cancellation

Deposits:

  • Rentals over $150 require a $100 deposit
  • Rentals over $1,000 require a $500 deposit
  • Deposits apply toward the rental total
  • No deposit = not reserved

Cancellations:

  • Within 72 hours of pickup or delivery, up to 50% of the rental total may be charged

No-Shows:

  • Failure to pick up equipment or accept delivery will result in 100% of the rental total being charged

Delivery

  • Delivery is available for an additional fee based on equipment and distance.
  • Delivery includes placement at one accessible location. Additional handling, distance, stairs, or difficult site conditions may result in additional charges.
  • Customer is responsible for ensuring the site is accessible, clear, and safe.

Rate Periods for Tools and Equipment

  • Rental charges are based on time out, not time used.

    • 4-hour rate: up to 4 hours during store hours
    • 1-day rental: up to 8 hours within a 24-hour period
    • 1-week rental: up to 40 hours in 7 days
    • 1-month rental: up to 160 hours in 28 days
    • Early returns: no refunds or credits
    • Late returns: additional charges apply
    • Extensions are allowed if equipment is available

    Weekend rentals:

    • Friday 4–5 PM → Monday 8 AM = 2-day charge
    • Saturday 4–5 PM → Monday 8 AM = 1-day charge

Rate Periods for Bounce Rides and Party Rentals

  • All tents, bounce rides, tables, and chairs are charged as a one-day rental covering the full weekend.

    Typical delivery: Thursday or Friday
    Typical pickup: Monday or Tuesday

    • Flat-rate pricing — no discounts or refunds for early return or unused time
    • Outdoor use only unless otherwise specified
    • Setup and takedown performed by our staff unless noted

Identification & Payment

  • A valid driver’s license or passport is required.
  • A major credit card is required for all rentals. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Rental charges and deposits are collected in advance. The cardholder must be present.
  • The equipment operator must be present at the time of rental.

Weather & Refund Policy

  • All payments are non-refundable
  • Rentals may be rescheduled due to weather when possible
  • Tents are rented rain or shine and are not eligible for weather rescheduling
  • Rescheduling must be requested before the scheduled pickup or delivery time
  • Rescheduling is subject to availability
  • Refunds or credits are only considered in cases of severe weather that makes setup unsafe (at our discretion)

Returns

  • Equipment must be returned during regular business hours unless approved in advance.
  • After-hours returns are not permitted. Equipment left after hours remains the customer’s responsibility until checked in by staff.

Fuel & Cleaning

Equipment must be returned in the same condition it was rented.

  • Fuel charges apply if not returned at the same level
  • Cleaning fees may apply for excessive dirt, mud, concrete, paint, or debris

Damage Waiver

A 13% Damage Waiver (DWC) is added to all rentals.

This covers accidental damage from normal use only. It does not cover theft, misuse, negligence, or abuse.

  • Rental rates are based on time out, not time used
  • Rental rates are non-negotiable and subject to change
  • No refunds for early returns
  • Customer must read and understand the rental contract before signing
  • Rental items are subject to availability
  • Grand Rental Station reserves the right to refuse service
